Celia’s Bat Mitzvah

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Celia and her paternal family for a Bat Mitzvah extended family photoshoot. The session took place at Celia’s home on a beautiful Saturday afternoon on June 18, 2022. The family looked stunning in their Bat Mitzvah outfits, and everyone was excited to get the session started.

We kicked off the afternoon with a mini-session of Celia. We walked around the house taking a variety of photos. At some point, Celia grabbed her orange soccer ball and we started taking shots of her kicking and dribbling. As a competitive soccer player, this was undoubtedly the highlight of our session. I had a feeling that these shots would turn out to be some of our favourites, and they did.

After working with Celia, I took photos of her younger sisters and parents. We then captured some immediate family photos. It was heartwarming to witness the love and affection between everyone in the Laski family.

The shoot continued with extended family photos in the backyard. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins gathered for a variety of group shots. It didn't take long for everyone to loosen up and have fun together, and the beautiful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for capturing precious memories that the family will cherish for years to come.

As the shoot came to a close, I felt grateful to have been part of such a special day in Celia's life. It was an honour to work with such a loving and supportive family. Mazal Tov, Celia and family!
